She continued to design & make, alongside her employment at Loughborough University as a Technical Instructor in Silversmithing & Jewellery, and set up her business 'Jo Pond' in January 2003.
Jo won the 2005 BDI Industry & Genius Awards in the category of Products and Genius. The award for her Narrative Jewellery Collection was presented by Kevin McCloud.
She has just been elected as a Fellow of The RSA; is an active member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, having co-founded the Midlands Group and is also a member of Contemporary Applied Arts.
